Writing

Notes on the work: what the research is actually asking, where the systems draw their boundaries, and what I expect to be true a year from now.

Evidence review interface showing provenance and verification state

Reading a preprint honestly

A preprint is a real contribution and it has not been reviewed. Both halves of that sentence are load-bearing.

Read
  1. What I expect from hybrid systems in 2027

Four predictions with dates and failure conditions attached, so they can be checked against next year.

  2. Open-sourcing the part you can defend

Every system we build has an open edition and a commercial one. The line between them is not arbitrary.

  3. Why the planner stays classical

The most consequential architectural decision in the quantum work is about where a component is not allowed to go.

  4. Teaching a workflow rather than a toolchain

University quantum labs spend most of their first month on environment setup. That month is the interesting part of the problem, and it is being wasted.
